Does CBD Get You High?

If you are asking this question, you have not done your research. Why do I say this? Because you do not understand CBD (Cannabidiol). If you were researching, you would have com across the existence of the body’ own Cannaboid system. Why is this important? Because the body already has Cannaboid Receptors to absorb Cannabidiol. Industrial Hemp CBD works with the body to provide it more Cannabidiol

CBD High

There are several people searching “Does CBD Get You High?”.

Some may be worried about the possibility of getting high from marijuana CBD, but it will not happen with high CBD plants. First, CBD does not have the mind altering capability of CBD and secondly although there may be some minute traces of THC in CBD plants, there is not enough to cause a high.

A third reason, chances of getting high are slim is because CBD growers of the plants are actively trying to increase the percentage of CBD so they can derive high prices for their plants.

So, what is the best use of CBD?

Of course this question depends on the individual, but several studies have validated its use for minimizing pain. In addition, as I have described earlier, CBD works with the body’s Cannabidiol System.

Marijuana Fact vs Fact?I don’t want to know your personal lifestyle. Opinion, whatever. I need facts or links to places where i can find facts. Not just hear say. I want to see legitimate research. Legitimate studies, proven facts about marijuana. What it does, why it could be good, why it could be bad. Either scientists and/or doctors who give straight up facts with no leaning to either side of the fence i want both sides of the story. No emotion. Just truth. That’s all i want.

TargetCBDCannabinoids in marijuana, include cannabinol, cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinolidic acids, cannabigerol, cannabichromene, and several isomers of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The psychoactive isomer is Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ 9 THC).

Cannabidiol or CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid. It has been shown to be effective as analgesic and anti-inflammatory with uses as an anti-asthmatic, and anti-rheumatic drug.

Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol or (Δ 9 THC) is the only psychoactive component, the cannabinoid that gets people high. THC is an appetite stimulant, and an antiemetic so it is used in anorexic patients or in others whose conditions caused weight loss as well as in controlling moderate nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy.

Dr. Zhang at Saskatchewan University examined the impact of a synthetic form of THC (HU210) on the brains of rats. They found an active increase in nerve cell generation of the hippocampus accompanied with a decrease is stress responses. The rats were less susceptible to observable symptoms of anxiety and depression while their hippocampus had the increased cell formation.

Historic uses of the cannabis plant go back to Neolithic agriculture 10, 000 years ago. Seeds dated to 5500 BCE were found in Neolithic layers in Germany. The plant was used for food, fiber in rope, and as a medicine as well as for recreation.

The plant Humulus lupulus, that gives us hops for beer, is closely related to Cannabis. Humulus is one of two genera in the Cannabaceae family, Cannabis is the second genus that seems to have arisen in the Himalayas.

Both Humulus and Cannabis species have lupulin glands with the floral structure and they share several essential aroma compounds like myrcene, pinene & humulene. These chemicals give hops some of their flavor and are components to the aroma of both species. In both genera there are hundreds of additional compounds that add to the aromas of the three main odorants.

What is the difference of legal marijuana and illegal marijuana? Is it not as good and does it give you a different kind of high.

TargetCBDAre you talking about medical vs. Street marijuana? Or marijuana vs. “legal bud”? “Legal bud” such as K2 or Spice is not marijuana, but contains a chemical variant of THC that the DEA is currently considering making illegal. Medical marijuana is typically grown for specific THC and CBD content and other characteristics in its growth and effect. Street marijuana is a crapshoot and can be good or bad depending on its origin. Within both medical and street marijuana are variations, the primary one being strain. An indica will have different effects than a sativa, but both are legal as medical and illegal on the street.

TargetCBDChronic overuse of any chemical can be harmful while the same chemical can be very useful in medical applications, so asking if something is ‘healthy’ depends on many factors. Recent work has shown some forms of THC to be effective in treating stress induced anxiety and depression.

Researchers found an active increase in nerve cell generation of the hippocampus accompanied with a decrease in stress. The active cannabonoid is very dosage dependent in its ability to work as an antidepressant. Low doses act as antidepressents but higher doses worsen the depression. The dose from smoking is to erratic to be used to treat depression.

Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol or (delta 9 THC) is the only psychoactive component, the only cannabinoid that gets people high. Other versions of THC exist that are not the delta 9 isomer as well as many other cannabinoids like cannabinol, cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinolidic acids, cannabigerol that may all have uses in some combinations along with THC. Cannabidiol or CBD has been shown to be effective as analgesic and anti-inflammatory.

Cannabinoids from plants bind receptors in the brain and elsewhere in the body. The plant versions mimic the bodies’ native endocannabinoids making it possible for the plant versions to bind their receptors. The native endocannabinoids have a role in signal transmission between cells that tells the cells what to do. Many of these receptors are in the brain but many are in the immune system, particularly the spleen.
